Fire Marshal's Office
The City of King Fire Marshal's Office is charged with improving public safety by promoting the control of fire hazards. We stirve to insure that the North Carolina Fire Prevention Code (North Carolina Building Code Volume V) is enforced within the City Limits.
The role of the Fire Marshal includes prevention of loss of life and property due to hazardous materials, man-made hazards and other natural hazards. The Fire Marshal accomplishes these goals through the enforcement of national, state, and local fire codes and the provision of fire prevention and safety preparedness programs.
