Park Event Permit
If you would like to have an event at one of our city parks, please submit the Park Event Permit application form found here.
This is an online form, which will be submitted directly to the Parks and Recreation Department. Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, you will be contacted by the Parks and Recreation department via email. This email will include a list of fees required for the approved application, which must be paid within one week of receiving the email.
All Park Event Permit applications MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT NO LESS THAN 45 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
Park Event Permits do NOT include the reservation of any picnic shelter or the Community Building. If you wish to reserve one of these facilities, you must reserve these separately at kingnc.recdesk.com. NOTE: The usual fees for these facilities, as outlined in the Schedule of Fees, will apply.
